Creating & Scheduling Posts
Compose, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple platforms from one interface.
Creating Your First Post
- Go to Brand Central → Create Post
- Select platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
- Write your message
- Add media (optional): images, videos, GIFs
- Choose: Post Now OR Schedule
- Click "Publish" or "Schedule"
Platform-Specific Formatting
Each platform has different limits and features:

Auto-Adapt Mode
When posting to multiple platforms, enable Auto-Adapt to automatically:
- Truncate long text for Twitter (with "..." and link)
- Add professional hashtags for LinkedIn
- Generate link previews for Facebook
Scheduling Posts
Quick Schedule
- Compose post
- Click "Schedule" instead of "Post Now"
- Pick date and time
- Select timezone (defaults to your account timezone)
- Click "Schedule"
Optimal Posting Times
Brand Central suggests best times based on your audience:

Content Calendar View
Switch to Calendar view to see all scheduled posts:
- Month view: See post distribution across weeks
- Week view: Detailed daily schedule
- Day view: Hour-by-hour timeline
Drag & drop: Click any post and drag to new date/time to reschedule.
Media Uploads
Supported Formats
- Images: JPG, PNG, GIF (up to 10MB each)
- Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI (up to 500MB, max 10 minutes)
- Auto-conversion: HEIC → JPG, WebP → PNG
Image Optimization
Uploaded images are automatically:
- Resized to optimal dimensions per platform
- Compressed (preserves quality, reduces file size 30-50%)
- Converted to JPEG/PNG (removes transparency for Twitter)
Video Processing
Videos are queued for background processing:
- Upload video → Shows "Processing..."
- System transcodes to platform-specific formats
- Takes 1-5 minutes depending on length
- Status changes to "Ready" when complete
⚠️ Important: Don't schedule video posts until video shows "Ready" status.
Post Templates
Creating a Template
- Compose a post
- Click "Save as Template"
- Name it (e.g., "Product Launch Tweet")
- Add variables:

Using Templates
- Click "New Post"
- Select "Use Template"
- Pick template
- Fill in variable values
- Publish or schedule

Setting Up Approval
- Go to Settings → Workflows
- Create workflow: "Manager Approval Required"
- Add approvers (by email)
- Set rule: All posts must be approved before publishing
Approval Process
- Content Creator schedules post → Status: Pending Approval
- Manager receives email notification
- Manager reviews post in Brand Central
- Manager clicks "Approve" or "Request Changes"
- If approved → Post scheduled for publishing
- If rejected → Creator receives feedback, makes edits, resubmits
Bulk Scheduling
CSV Import
Schedule dozens of posts at once via CSV:
- Download template CSV
- Fill columns: Date, Time, Platform, Message, Media URL
- Upload CSV to Brand Central
- Review preview → Click "Schedule All"

- ✅ Schedule posts at least 1 hour in advance (allows time for approval)
- ✅ Use emojis strategically (Twitter/Facebook: yes, LinkedIn: sparingly)
- ✅ Always preview how post looks on each platform before scheduling
- ✅ Include call-to-action (CTA): "Learn more", "Get started", "Join us"
- ✅ Add alt text to images (accessibility + SEO)
- ❌ Don't over-post (max 3-5 tweets/day, 1 LinkedIn post/day)
- ❌ Don't schedule same exact content to all platforms (vary tone/length)
- ❌ Don't forget to check timezone when scheduling for global audiences
Managing Scheduled Posts
Editing Scheduled Posts
- Go to Calendar view
- Click post to edit
- Make changes
- Click "Update Schedule"
Limitation: Can only edit posts that haven't been published yet.
Deleting Scheduled Posts
- Find post in Calendar
- Click "..." menu → Delete
- Confirm deletion
⚠️ Warning: Deleting is permanent. Post won't be published.
Troubleshooting
Post Failed to Publish
Common causes:
- Social account disconnected (reconnect in Settings)
- Platform API error (retry later)
- Text exceeds character limit (edit and republish)
- Media file unavailable (re-upload)
Media Not Uploading
Fixes:
- Check file size (max 10MB images, 500MB videos)
- Ensure format is supported (JPG, PNG, MP4, MOV)
- Try different browser (Chrome/Firefox recommended)
- Disable browser extensions blocking uploads
